Personality Integration Therapy is a breakthrough, user friendly, cutting edge system of ethical and effective methods that promote and support self understanding, growth, and true self mastery. It is an outgrowth of Personality Integration Theory which I developed over the past 25+ years in clinical practice as a psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist, and addictions counselor. By working in the fields of psychology and addictionology I began to formulate my theory and to develop the highly effective methods that I teach and use today.
IT theory and methods are based on what actually works. They represent a major departure from the antequated pathology oriented systems of psychology, while building upon what works from the old masters. In Personality Integration Theory and Personality Integration Therapy (IT) the individual is viewed as suffering from hidden immaturity (variously disguised) rather than as being sick. The impact of this more realistic premis to begin therapy is enormous for the individual. IT is a maturation model that puts the power (to grow and to create a better life) directly in the hands of the client/student. As opposed to the pathology model that all too often empowers only the doctor or therapist.
The goal of IT is maturity and self mastery. (This is not to be mistaken for the pseudo-maturity that many individuals suffer with in our world today. True maturity ALWAYS includes an inner calm and compassion.) IT actually teaches you, the client/student, HOW to accomplish the goal and further supports you in your process.
You, dear friend, can get control of your life. IT can provide you with the missing piece that makes achieving the goal not only possible but, with your effort and honest determination, probable.
I invite your participation in this amazing process that holds the potential to set you free.
"I met Diane in the Spring of 1990 on a referral of my massage therapist. At the time, I was going through a divorce after 20 years of marriage. Early on in my sessions with her, she helped me delineate between myself and my ex-wife and separate my identity from my job. She also gently and compassionately pointed out that my use of prescription drugs and alcohol for the past 28 years was standing in my way of being able to feel my feelings and to be honest about the issues at hand. Through her loving guidance, she persuaded me to admit myself into a drug and alcohol treatment facility. I did, and it was the most rewarding experience of my life. Not only was I clean and sober, but she introduced me to the most incredible Spiritual Program — A Course in Miracles. Fifteen years later and with my new wife, I have more love, peace of mind, and spirituality that I could have ever imagined, not to mention the fact that I am still clean and sober. I will always be grateful to God for putting this wonderful angel in my life — Diane."
